big cook little cook?!

Well, from the title i guess you are expecting me to share with you a cookery mishap... i wont bother, needless to say i managed to blow up my microwave today- mum wasnt best pleased from my phone call as smoke poured from the kitchen....
Mum- "are you sure you just havent burnt something?"
Me- "No mum, its an electrical smell"
SORRY...BUT WHAT DOES ELECTRIC SMELL LIKE?!
Ok, maybe i shared a slight cookery mishap... but heres what im actually blogging about- Kids Tv documentaries!

Being home from uni i am watching cbeebies pretty much 24/7... not by choice obiously...!!
There are some really.... shall i say 'good'...programmes, such as Ballamory. However, recently i have found the new wonder which is documentaries in the programmes- mainly 'big cook little cook' and 'come outside' (the one with the lady from open all hours and pippin the dog in a plane!-i think it was on mid 90's too)...occasionally teletubies has them aswell (when they watch the videos AGAIN AGAIN on the 'chosen ones' tele-tummy!!) They visit factories and show you how stuff is made- this morning i was shown the smarties factory- in particular the blue smartie- AWESOME... i hope my english degree helps me into that field!haha. The other day i watched one about how post gets all around the country- granted, pippin and aunty mabel actually got there the same time as the postman arrived to deliver the letter they had posted, but it was an 'alf interesting!
I just thought id share this as im sure we all find ourselves with some spare time... or at a need to procrastinate from time to time!
that is all.
